Mass Save Rebate

Mass Save Terms and Conditions

Each customer is eligible for one rebate per product category (for a total of up to four rebates). Appliance(s) must be installed at a Massachusetts residential address and must replace an existing, working appliance(s). Businesses (including landlords that do not live in the residence) are NOT eligible for the Mass Save Great Appliance Exchange Rebates. Customers must purchase appliance(s) that meet the eligibility criteria and must purchase from a pre-approved Massachusetts retailer. Purchases made online do not qualify for these rebates. THIS IS A REPLACEMENT PROGRAM. Participants must receive delivery of the appliance(s) and obtain a delivery/haul-away receipt (or storm damage documentation) that clearly indicates the old unit(s) was hauled away for recycling. Customer cannot pick-up or deliver the appliance(s) themselves. While assignment of reservation numbers is intended to prevent the program from being oversubscribed, the Commonwealth and sponsoring utilities and energy efficiency service providers cannot ensure that every customer receiving an appliance reservation will get a rebate. Funding is limited and when funds have been entirely spent, no further applications can be processed and paid. Demographic information from the program may be used for American Recovery and Reinvestment Act reporting to the state and the federal government.
Please see frequently asked questions www.masssave.com/GAX.
Rebates are valid for purchases made April 22, 2010 through May 5, 2010. All rebate requests must be postmarked no later than June 19, 2010.
This limited-time rebate offer is available to all Massachusetts residents and may be subject to change without prior notice. In addition, a $50 mail-in rebate for ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators and freezers is available only to Massachusetts residential electric customers of the following utilities and energy efficiency service providers: National Grid, NStar Electric, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric. Please note that the Mass Save Great Appliance Exchange rebates can be combined with the above mentioned $50 rebate at retail or the Mass Save home energy assessment replacement incentive (if applicable); however, customers cannot receive all three rebates. For electric customers of companies other than National Grid, NStar Electric, Unitil, and Western Massachusetts Electric, contact your electric company for additional rebates.
